Trips listed on this page fall into two categories: Airline Ambassador Missions, and AAI Member-led trips.

AAI Sponsored Trips are highlighted in yellow, and have been reviewed to meet our high standards of voluntourism. AAI Sponsored Trips have an established land price, which includes most costs during the mission. Please click the "» See Details ..." link to find out more about each trip.

AAI Member-led trips are coordinated by select AAI members who have expertise in leading trips and want to give others the opportunitiy to share the fun and rewards of traveling to make a difference. An active membership in AAI is required to register for an AAI member-led trip.

Upcoming Missions and Trips

To be determined

India - (member-led)

 Coordinator:  Anthony Maharaj - anthonymaharaj@ gavov.org

Bring your skills and promote

education for the children of

India. Volunteers will be encouraged to "multi task".  Many areas cry for the touch of motivated, loving volunteers.  Volunteers can gather children together to teach the English language (and learn some Hindi along the way).  Those with medical knowledge can perform basic checks while teaching the basics of health and hygiene.  Those with construction experience can help the villagers build the school.  This trip involves traveling to New Delhi and enjoying the amenities of the city; however, the Village of Manjharia is remote.  While in the village, volunteers will be "roughing it".  Tents and sleeping bags will provide shelter and comfort.  Hot meals will be provided.

Liberia - (member led)

 Coordinator:  Julie Butterfield - saveorphans2@msn.com

Julie leads a group of twenty on a 7-10 day trip to our Adopted Project in Liberia.  The mission begins when you bring supplies to a local elementary school and support a Nigerian woman as she repairs an elementary school.  You will tour Liberia and Monrovia and witness, first-hand, the daily struggles of young adults in the region.  Evenings will be spent dining with the youth and listening to them as they share life stories of dreams unrealized and realities of time spent stealing, in jail, in lives of prostitution, and experiences as

ex-combatants.  Finally, you will have the opportunity to surround yourself in the culture and immerse yourself in traditional Liberian entertainment.  This will only be the beginning of future trips that will continue to address the needs of Liberian youth and the hope and dreams of Liberia's next

generation.
