Stories From The Field

Mexico -

Kim Rex, Mission Coordinator Reports:

Our final destination was about 1 hour past the Tijuana border, La Mision, MX.

The first night, the team organized donations for 3 orphanages, enjoyed dinner, and spent some time at the beach.

The next morning AAI volunteers woke up to a day of energy and excitement.  They spent time with about 80 children at Ensenda-Rancho El Milagro Children's Home playing games and cherishing time doing arts and crafts.

Approximately 90 children were visited at El Porvenir-Casa De Paz Orphanage and Fara Orphanage the following day.  Later, the team visited the wine country and enjoyed dinner with 30 children in San Antonio De Las Minas.

Finally, before driving back to San Diego, the volunteers relaxed at the beach.

The Airline Ambassadors group delivered aid, food, and joy during their very active trip.  Thank you to everyone!

AAI asks future volunteers to help the Mexico programs and projects by planning to bring a $100 donation for in-country donations.
